My old curling iron is beginning to run down and not work like it used to..I've had it for a few years so it's reasonable. I first heard of the Sultra through Kandee Johnson. I've been looking up reviews on it and decided on The Bombshell. It was between that or the Sedu clipless curling iron.
I first ordered it from Sephora.com which had the Pink Brest Cancer awareness one but I found out I could get it on Folica.com for $40 less. I will be returning the pink one this weekend!
Anyway, to the review:
PROS
- Very fast heat up..about 30 seconds
- Great curls, curls quickly and simple
- Comes with a heat protecting glove and pad
- No kinks from a clamp
- Curls last longer with no product
- Registration for product available
- VERY long cord
- Best swivel cord I've ever used
CONS
- Gets VERY hot but has no heat adjustment
- Does not look like a curling iron..more like an adult toy!
- Can easily burn yourself
- A bit pricey
If you're looking for a good curling iron, give the Sultra a try!!
